South Africa: Italian culture on display at movie festival

Cape Town - The Italian Cultural Institute in South Africa in collaboration with the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation is presenting a week dedicated to current Italian cinema in Pretoria.

The movies covers different genres and topics such as hopeless love, contemporary Italian social issues, the difficulties of family and social relationships. The movies will be screened from December 11-16 at the Brooklyn Theatre in Pretoria and are in Italian with English subtitles.

The list of movies are: La mafia uccide solo d’estate by Pierfrancesco Diliberto (2013); Scialla! by Francesco Bruni (2011); Bianca come il latte, rossa come il sangue by Giacomo Campiotti (2013); La prima volta di mia figlia by Riccardo Rossi (2015); Pazze di me by Fausto Brizzi (2013) and Scusate se esisto by Riccardo Milani (2014).
