Safilo signs agreement with Kronotime for Colombian market
Padua - Spectacle manufacturer Safilo announced it signed an exclusive partnership agreement with Kronotime, the local leader in the jewelry sector, for distribution in Colombia. Safilo will soon celebrate 140 years in operation, and will thus be able to offer its full portfolio to Colombia: over 30 different brands covering practically all market segments. This distribution agreement is one further step in the development of Safilo in Latin America, within the context of the company's 2020 Strategic Plan, which envisages growth in the Emerging Markets region. "We are enthusiastic about the growth potential that Colombia can offer our brands: it is a large country with a significant optics tradition, with a keen eye for fashion and design, and also quality conscious", stated Luisa Delgado, Safilo Group CEO, "At the local level, it is showing its readiness for all market segments, and particularly for our main brands: Polaroid and Carrera".
