Movies : Italy On  Screen   Today ,  awards  for Castellitto and Storaro

Rome - From 19 to 22 October New York will host the second "Italy On Screen Today", the Italian film festival, screening films which have had tremendous box office success, in some cases with actors and directors who will recount anecdotes related to the film. The work of actor/director Sergio Castellitto and cinematographer Vittorio Storaro will be recognized during the event, and a tribute paid to Dario Fo.Devised by Artistic Director, Loredana Commonara, with the support of Giuliana Ridolfi Cardillo in New York and coordinated by Sarah Masten, the initiative takes place at the Proshansky Auditorium, Casa Italiana Zerilli/Marimò, New York University and Stony Brook University, Long Island. "Italy On Screen Today" is produced with the help of the Italian Ministry of National Heritage, Culture and Tourism supported by the Italian Consulate General, New York, in collaboration with RAI Cinema, John D. Calandra Institute and Queens college/CUNY, under the patronage of the European Parliament and the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
