Marche: international exhibition for Italo-Arab business starts

Ascoli Piceno - To develop and relaunch business opportunities for SMEs operating in the fashion, home furnishing and agri-food sectors. This is the main goal of the international exhibition of Italian-Arab businesses to be held in Amandola, in the province of Fermo, Marche, on September 29 and 30. The title of the event will be "Italy and the challenge of foreign markets: businesses from Marche meet the operators".

The exhibition is promoted by the Italo-Arab Chamber of Cooperation - chaired by the industrialist Mario Mancini, from Ascoli Piceno, in cooperation with the Chambers of Commerce of Ascoli Piceno and Fermo, the Carisap Foundation, Gruppo Intesa San Paolo and the local Municipality. Delegates of companies from Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Egypt, Algeria, Tunisia and Morocco will take part in the event. "This international exhibition will be an ideal bridge with Dubai 2020 - as the promoters of the initiative explained - following the successful Expo in Milan with a common focus on environmental sustainability and on protecting our planet's resources." On Friday, September 29, in the morning, direct meetings will be held between representatives of Italian businesses and of the Arab countries present, as well as a round table on trade relations and opportunities for mutual exchanges in the furniture, fashion and agri-food sectors. The conference will include speeches, among others, by Galal M. Eslawy, minister plenipotentiary of trade at the Embassy of Egypt, Osama Rashid, Vice-President of the Italo-Arab Cooperation Chamber and President of the Cadini Group, Samir Al Kassir, adviser of the Chamber. Other speakers will include Mario Mancini, president of the Italo-Arab Chamber of Commerce, Gino Sabatini, president of the Chamber of Commerce of Ascoli and Cna Marche, Vincenzo Marini Marini, president of the Carisap Foundation, Adolfo Marinangeli, Mayor of Amandola, and delegates from Gruppo Intesa San Paolo.

Another conference will also be held on Saturday, September 30, entitled 'Italy and the challenge of foreign markets: businesses from Marche in international processes'. Taking action to improve competitiveness.
