Milan - The Italian government intends to finance the strategic plan for 'Made in Italy' products once again in 2018. This was announced today in Milan by Ivan Scalfarotto, the Italian Undersecretary of State for Economic Development, at the presentation of the Chinese luxury platform Mei.com, which aims to host Italian fashion brands. The funds for 2017 amounted to just over EUR 200 million. "I intend to find the funds to finance the plan in 2018," said Scalfarotto, "the governments proposal will be included in the budget law and it will then be up to Parliament to approve it."
