 L'azienda Caffe' Guglielmo

Catanzaro - Caffè Guglielmo's expansion plan has continued on its route to the Far East. After entering the markets of China and South Korea and the opening of the first Guglielmo coffee shops, the Calabrian company has signed an exclusive distribution agreement for its products in Vietnam with Cheung YongMa Ltd, a Hong-Kong based company operating in the whole oriental market. The deal was signed in Ho Chi Minh by Daniele Rossi, family business delegate adviser along with his uncle, Roberto Volpi and his cousins Matteo Tubertini and Beatrice Volpi, and Won Suk Kim, managing director of the Hong Kong Group who in August stopped off in Italy to visit the Copanello Staletti roasting plant (in the province of Catanzaro) and the Guglielmo groups offices. The new deal for the distribution of Caffè Guglielmo in Vietnam marks an important step for the future of the Calabrian company, which in recent years has devoted many resources to a precise export plan which is advancing simultaneously in Europe and the non-EU market.Created in 1943 by the entrepreneur and cavaliere del lavoro (captain of industry) Guglielmo Papaleo, it is today one of the largest companies in southern Italy. The roasting plant is overlooking the Ionian coast of Copanello, a few kilometers from Catanzaro, which promotes an image which is halfway between avant-garde and traditional. Guglielmo produces and markets its products in the domestic and HORECA (Hotels, Restaurants and Cafes) sectors".
