Italy-Israel: Start Jerusalem, start-up competition on the way
Rome - Start Jerusalem, the international competition for start-ups, promoted in Italy by the Embassy of Israel in Italy and Luiss Enlabs, is on the way. The winners will take part in a one-week workshop, which will be held between 5 and 11 November, in Jerusalem one of the fastest growing tech cities, which over the years has been recognized as one of the world's innovation and technology hubs. During this week, they will meet mentors and VCs, take part in workshops and in a pitch session with Israels leading entrepreneurs and investors. The competition is organized by Israel's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Jerusalem Development Authority, in collaboration with Intel. Among the participants, start-ups from over 30 countries on the international innovation panorama, such as the United State, Japan, Germany, Australia, Russia, India and Brazil. In particular, the competition is open to active start-ups involved in ICT and projects offering solutions to improve life in the field of social and/or urban innovation, that have already received a seed fund, have a prototype ready and whose CEO/founder is aged between 25 and 37. Subscriptions are open from 4 September till 4 October.
