Italy-Israel: '​Musica on the beach' on Italy's National Day  

Tel Aviv - On the occasion of Italy's National Day 2018, let's go party on the beach, "where Music paints the Sunset".The event will take place Thursday, May 31st, startingat 18:45 Ristorante Lala Land, 131, H. Samuel St, Gordon Beach in Tel Aviv. The event is an initiative of the Italian Embassy in Israel and the Italian Cultural Institute in Tel Aviv, organized in collaboration with the Municipality of Tel Aviv-Yaffo, the Italian Ministry of University and Research - Directorate General for students, development and internationalization of higher education, "Giuseppe Verdi" Conservatory of Milan, the Foundation Italia-Israele for the Promotion of Art and Culture, Restaurant Lala Land.
    The following is the program that will be offered in the evening. "Only the Three of Us": Doctor 3 - Danilo Rea (piano), Enzo Pietropaoli (bass), Fabrizio Sferra (drums); "Jazz Around the Sixties": Saxophone Ensemble and Voice - The National Jazz Orchestra of the Italian Conservatories Conductor Riccardo Luppi; Music and dances with DJ Dana Keila. Star of the evening, the Doctor 3 trio with Danilo Rea (piano), Enzo Pietropaoli (double bass) and Fabrizio Sferra (drums), one of the best known and awarded groups on the Italian jazz scene, will present - with its very personal style - an engaging musical program, including Italian songs, standards and original compositions.
    The overwhelming force of the Quintet of saxophones of the National Jazz Orchestra of Italian Conservatories, directed by Maestro Riccardo Luppi, will open the evening with a selection of the best jazz compositions of the Sixties, arranged by the most talented young composers of the Milan Conservatory. The National Jazz Orchestra of Italian Conservatories is an educational project funded by the MIUR, in residence at the "G. Verdi" Conservatory of Music in Milan. Afterwards, DJ Dana Keila will conclude the event with a set of Italian music, groove and electro swing, dragging the audience to dance under the moon, booked for the occasion.
