Italian wines: over 5 thousands visitors to Luca Maroni's event

Rome - Over 5,000 tickets sold, in addition to attendance by Buyers and industry specialists, 150 companies involved with 400 labels to taste, 1,500 wine glasses poured, 400 industry operators present and more than 100 delicatessen products to taste originating from the Terre Ospitali dei Castelli Romani and from the Chicche della Tuscia association. These are the figures for the 2018 edition of Luca Maroni's 'I migliori vini italiani' (The best Italian wines) which recently ended with outstanding success and thousands of visitors who enthusiastically followed all the prize-giving and the various activities throughout the event. There was great interest in the tasting sessions, workshops, experiments and projects starting now and looking to the future of the wine producing and cultural environment in Italy, such as the birth of the 'Vigneto Italia' (Italian Vineyard) at the Orto Botanico botanical gardens in Rome.
