Milan - Eight Italian companies have been included in the 'Technology fast 500 Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA)', the ranking of companies in the field of technology that, over the last four years, have recorded the highest growth rate in terms of revenues in this area. The 2017 edition of the program - conducted by Deloitte in 18 EMEA countries - is dominated by France with 97 companies among the 'top 500', followed by Great Britain with 92 (four of the top ten, however, are British), and the Netherlands with 50. The 'top 5' includes two Israeli companies. Italy ranked in 12th place. The companies with the highest growth rate (2.107%) belong to the media industry, whereas software companies dominate the ranking with 334 companies out of 500. The 2017 edition is characterized by an average growth of 1.377% compared to the previous edition (+967%). At the top of the ranking is the British giant Deliveroo, a food delivery company. "Every year, Deloitte is very pleased to reward Italian companies that have managed to feature in the 'Fast 500', thus reaffirming its commitment to supporting emerging companies that stand out in an increasingly competitive and innovative international context," said Alberto Donato, Deloitte's partner and Italian Technology, Media & Telecommunications Industry Leader. "We would like to congratulate the eight winning companies from Italy for achieving this goal," he added. These are Caffeina, Afinna one, Filoblu, Young digitals, Amped software, Mailup, Begear and Bizup.
