Pescara - With its distinctive taste and quality, Abruzzo's coffee has now conquered the whole world. In fact, it was one of the stars of two leading international trade fairs: Host 2017, in Milan, and Anuga, in Germany. Universal CaffË, a historical company based in Moscufo, was present to represent Abruzzo. Thousands of people visited the stands, asking for information on blends and tasting the various products. Everyone appreciated the quality of Abruzzo's coffee. These trade fairs demonstrated how appealing 'Made in Italy' products actually are to the rest of the world. Both trade fairs saw an increasing number of foreign visitors: from Asia, which has been in great turmoil for some time, to the USA, but also Russia, the Middle East and the rest of Europe. On these two occasions, Universal introduced the restyling of its Camiscia line, which features a brand new design and, especially, a new taste. Many events were also promoted: Latte Art, Caffetteria, speciality coffee tastings extracted with alternative methods, and cup tasting of 100 percent Organic and Fair Trade coffee. For Universal, Host also provided the opportunity to take part in a series of business meetings with foreign distributors. The 40th edition of Host, held from October 20 to 24 in Milan, had record numbers: 187,602 visitors in total, with a 24.3 percent increase compared to the previous edition held in 2015. 38 percent of these visitors were from 177 foreign countries. Those who attended did not only come from usual countries but also from distant or unusual countries, such as Australia, New Zealand, Cambodia, Polynesia and some African states. The SIC - Salone Internazionale del Caffe' (International Coffee Exhibition) was also held as part of Host, which is considered to be a global benchmark in the industry. The 34th edition of Anuga, the largest food & beverage trade fair held from October 7 to 11 in Cologne, Germany, also had record numbers. About 165,000 people participated from 198 countries. On this occasion, the 'Street food bar' pilot project was presented, also developed by Universal CaffË in partnership with a German distributor: it is aimed at promoting Italian quality, taste and style on the streets in Germany. "Abruzzo's coffee - as the sole administrator of Universal, Natascia Camiscia, and the sales and marketing director, Paolo Del Rosario, stated - was a true protagonist in these two major international events. Thousands of sector professionals are interested in 'Made in Italy' taste. It is a pleasure to see how these two events provide evidence of the ever-increasing importance of Italian coffee worldwide. The fact that many foreign visitors attended and showed interest is a clear indication that Italian coffee and 'Made in Italy' products are currently experiencing a real boom".
