Hong Kong - The Finnish Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the Italian Chamber of Commerce of Hong Kong and Macao, has organized on September 7th the afterwork seminar 'Women in Business - Navigating Asia'. As promoters remember, even in the corporate world of today where gender equality has come a long way, women are still sometimes faced with unforeseen challenges. Conducting business in a culture that may be vastly different from home brings a completely new dimension to these challenges. The seminar will be an occasion to meet, discuss and network with three professionals on the challenges they have faced when doing business in Asia: Maura Thompson, Co-Founder of Sassy Hong Kong, Karen Cheung, Director of Business Development, Corporate & Private Clients of Vistra Hong Kong, and Annika Payn, Founder of Brandika. Panelists will share their experiences and tips on how to navigate through the business jungle of Asia as a woman. Moderator will be Annika Hiltunen, Member of the Board of Food Linkers.
