Berlin - La-la-la-langue/Pa-pa-parole. Incursioni', the first public performance by TabulaRasa, a community of Italian artists living in the German capital, debuted in Berlin. During a two-week residency at the Tatwerk, they will be presenting 'Incursioni', deliberately unfinished pictures, as yet in the making, the result of the artists stammering attempts at language. The Italian Cultural Institute in Berlin is supporting the project in collaboration with Tatwerk Performative Forschung. The TabulaRasa community comprises Italian artists living and working in Berlin. They have been holding meetings for about two and a half years to gain mutual understanding and exchange experiences. Their public performance at the Tatwerk on 1 October will be followed by a public meeting on 7 November, during which they will show some video material and hold a debate to discuss the project. At the same time, the group will also introduce their mapping project: a constantly updated census by the Italian artists of performing arts in Berlin.
