Food: Osaka hosts seminar on Parmesan cheese

Osaka,- Parmesan cheese will be the star of the new series of "Taste of Italy" food and wine seminars organized by the Institute of Italian Culture in Osaka. At the meeting scheduled for 22 October, Prof. Yukari Izumi, head of the "Cheese Professionist Association", will explain its production, traditions, consumption and the right wine to accompany it. For some time now, the Institute has been offering food and wine courses in addition to the usual courses on Italian language, literature, art and architecture. As well as cheese-themed courses - Parmesan cheese, blue cheese or Alpeggio cheese as in the next session - the Institute offers sessions to get to know and taste wine and olive oil.
