Diplomacy: presentation of the "Diplomacy Education" Project

Rome - The Farnesina hosted the Presentation of the “Diplomacy Education” Project, with the attendance of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Angelino Alfano.
For the first time in Europe, 60 embassies and diplomatic missions in Italy will “adopt” whole classes of Italian secondary schools to participate in the project entitled “Diplomacy Education”, developed by the Global Action agency, sponsored by the Italian Foreign Ministry and supported by the UN Agencies in Italy. 
The Project aims to promote knowledge of the Countries of the world and their institutional relations.
The event was attended by Waheed Omer, the Ambassador of Afghanistan to Italy, Heather Eaton, Public Affairs Officer at the US Mission to the UN Agencies in Rome, Ussama Osman, Deputy Secretary to the Executive Board of the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP), Mari'a Rosa Jijo'n Caldero'n, Cultural Secretary of the Italo-Latin American Institute (IILA), and Valentina Carlino, President of Global Action.
