Eurasia: Lombardy, Emilia Romagna, Veneto leading export regions
Venice - Lombardy, Emilia Romagna and Veneto are the three top Italian regions for exports to the 5 Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) countries: Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia and Kirghistan. In detail, Lombardy's exports were worth 2.3 billion, Veneto's 1.3 billion and Emilia Romagna's 1.4 billion. The figures were highlighted in Verona on 17 October, during the press conference launching the 10th Eurasian Economic Forum, a summit taking place on 19 and 20 October at the Palazzo della Gran Guardia, organized by the Conoscere Eurasia association, Roscongress and the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
