China: Italian Orchestra to perform film-concert Harry Potter
Shanghai - The Italian Cinema Orchestra will fly to China to perform the film-concert "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone": the first show will take place on October 24 at the Cultural Square in Shanghai under the direction of Justin Freer. On October 27, the orchestra will also perform at the Concert Hall in Jiangyin, under the direction of Shi-Hong Yong, and, on October 28, at the Poly Theater in Wuxi with a double performance. On October 29, the orchestra will perform contemporary film scores conducted by Daniele Belardinelli with an "open air" repertoire in Shanghai, including scores by Nicola Piovani, Luis Bacalov, Ennio Morricone, Nino Rota, Oscar Prize Winner John Williams, and the 'La La Land' score. On November 2 and 4, the Orchestra will conclude its Harry Potter tour at the recently opened Jiangsu Grand Theater Opera House and Multi Media Hall in Nanjing, conducted by Shi-Hong Yonguxi.
