Abu Dhabi: Gentiloni toured Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque
Abu Dhabi - Italian Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni, on a state visit to the country, yesterday toured Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque along with his accompanying delegation.
The Italian premier was shown around the tomb of late Sheikh Zayed and briefed by Yousif Al Obaidli, Director-General of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Cente, on the unique leadership qualities embodied by the nation's founding father.
Gentiloni was also briefed on the iconic masterpieces imposing themselves across the mosque's inspirational masterpieces and its unique valuables as well as its history.
At the end of the visit, the Italian prime minister was presented a copy of the book "Spaces of Light", one of the publications of the Shaikh Zayed Grand Mosque Centre.
