(AGI) Belgrade, Oct 10 - A gala dinner entirely devoted to the best of Italian wine and food products will light up Belgrade on Tuesday evening. "A Taste of Culture" is the special evening dinner that Slow Food Serbia has organized together with the Metropol Palace Hotel and the Italian Cultural Institute in Belgrade. The event will celebrate Italy's creativity and wine and food culture. Participants will have a chance to be a part of the magic by Massimo Rossi, a chef from Arezzo, who will skilfully prepare a selection of dishes combining Italy's best tastes to create real culinary masterpieces. The dinner will be an experiential journey through four courses carefully matched with "Gabriele Mazzeschi" wines made of organic Tuscan grapes. Slow Food will be the star of the evening. Dinner will start with cocktails first, which will be served with a wide array of delicious appetizers. These include crunchy 'panzanella' and an Atlantic bonito from Orbetello,Tarese del Valdarno rolls with Certaldo onion skins, a cream of Lucca red beans with chopped soprassata of Monte and Pistoia Mountain pecorino. They will be followed by a boiled-non-boiled Maremmana beef with a celery leaf pesto and a roasted capocollo with cabbage in a blackberry vinegar marinade. Next will be pappardelle with white Chianina ragu' sauce, followed by a pork shin in an orange sauce with a skewer of laurel-flavoured potatoes. An apple pie made with Valdichiana rusty apples will be the perfect conclusion to the evening.. .
