San Marino to host Italy's music and fashion of the 60s

San Marino to host Italy's music and fashion of the 60s

San Marino - Music, fashion and a 'disputed cover' of Little Tony will come together at an extraordinary exhibition for the singer to take place at Palazzo Graziani in San Marino City on June 16 and 17. At the same time, the Council of the Castle of Serravalle will inaugurate the Auditorium Little Tony -formerly a Multipurpose Hall- organising several events set up in cooperation with the Istituto della Memoria.

This is a project stemming from ASSPIC (the San Marino association supporting brain diseases due to aging), with the sponsorship of the State Secretariat for San Marino Culture. Music, fashion and folk cultures will be the themes, in accordance with the fabulous 60s. Those were the years that have been considered extraordinary for the creativity exhibited and the social transformations that occurred. At 8 p.m., Little Tony's daughter, Cristiana Ciacci, will be the first to perform on the day of the inauguration of the auditorium. Cristiana has many years of experience as the lead choral member of the orchestra that accompanied the singer, who passed away on 27 May 2013. Cristiana who is part of the Little Tony Family , a 10-element band, will sing along with Angelo Petruccetti, who was the keyboard player and arranger of the artist from San Marino.

The fashion characterising the 60s will be presented with the original outfits to be worn by models during a show presented by Patrizia Deitos, on the musical backdrop of a concert by the Little Tony Family. The fashion show will feature beachwear, the first miniskirts, unstructured minidresses, hip-hugger flare pants, evening dresses and Piper Club iconic outfits, hats and accessories of all kinds.
