(AGI) Rome, May 30 - Rome is to host the third Workshop Eurasia, an international conference on economic cooperation between Italy, China and the Far East countries which begins on June 9. AGI is Workshop Eurasia's media partner. The plenary session, on June 10, will focus on production sectors driving Asia's growth, particularly logistics and mobility and the internet, which is transforming production and consumption and therefore sales. The Asian Development Bank is funding a large number of infrastructure projects in the Silk Road countries. A central role will be played by the "One Belt One Road" programme, an Eurasian plan covering the area from the Mediterranean to the China Sea. Tenders will be invited by the countries involved and by the Asian Infrastructure Bank, of which Italy is a member. Three leading institutional figures will speak at the workshop, explaining how Italian companies can take part: Yu Yongding, Director of the Institute of World Economics and Politics - Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Qi Xin, Deputy Director Institute of Industry Development- Ministry of Commerce China and Stephen Wang, Europe Director - Hong Kong Trade Development Council. Asian Development Bank Senior Executive Secretary Woo Chong Um will present the bank's investment plan and discuss international tendering. (AGI). .
