(AGI) Helsinki, Aug. 16 - The work of Raphael will be on show for the first time in Finland in the exhibition entitled "The Renaissance. Now - from Raphael to Titian", which will run from Sept. 23 to Jan. 15 at the National Museum of Finland in Helsinki. The exhibition, organised by Davide Sandrini and curated by Elena Lucchesi Ragni, includes approximately 50 oil paintings by about 20 Italian Renaissance artists who worked in Lombardy, Venice and Milan between the 16th and 17th centuries. After Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo, Raphael and Titian are among the most famous artists of the Italian Renaissance. The paintings exhibited include works by Lorenzo Lotto, Tintoretto, Girolamo Romanino and Giovanni Battista Moroni. The paintings are mainly from Brescia's Pinacoteca Tosio Martinengo. (AGI) . .
