(AGI) Lecce, Aug 2 - Lamborghini has begun testing its new Centenario model at the Technical Centre of Nardo' in southern Italy. To mark the 100 years since the birth of founder Ferruccio Lamborghini, only 40 vehicles have been produced. The model's features and performance on the track have been presented in an official video. The Centenario is priced at 1,750,000 euros, excluding tax. Of the 40 Centenarios on sale, 20 are coupes and 20 are roadsters. With its 770 horsepower engine, the Centenario can hit 350 km per hour. Several of its technical aspects are being tested in Nardo', including the vehicle's ability to brake from 100 to 0 km/h in 30 metres and from 300 to 0 km/h in 290 metres. The Centenario measures 4.92 metres in length and 114 centimetres in height. (AGI). .
