Kazakhstan: gov. members, banned travels without authorization

(AGI) - Astana, Sep. 14 - The recently appointed Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Bakhytzhan Sagintayev has banned members of the government from taking business trips abroad without the official authorization. During the extended cabinet meeting, the prime minister gave the follwing instructions. "All of us will work very hard. All trips abroad until the end of the year must be suspended. Except for the official trips with the President. If suddenly some of you will have a need to travel abroad, you will need to get my official authorization", Sagintayev stressed. On September 13 the new cabinet of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan has been formed with Bakhytzhan Sagintayev as the new prime minister. Askar Mamin has been appointed to the post of the First Deputy Prime Minister. Also the Ministry of Civil Service Affairs was dismissed while the new Ministry for religious affairs and civil society was created. (AGI) .
