(AGI) - Astana, August 6 - The Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev has arrived to Istanbul to meet with Erdogan for the official visit on 5 August. The Kazakh President stressed that Kazakhstan was open to Turkish entrepreneurs. "Despite the economic crisis in the world, relations between Kazakhstan and Turkey increasingly develop," he noted. The mutual volume of investments between Kazakhstan and Turkey reaches $800 million. "During the Turkish Leader's visit to Astana, we adopted an action plan on implementation of our joint program called New Synergy. Our goal is to increase the trade turnover between our countries up to $10 billion US dollars," Nazarbayev emphasized. In turn, Erdogan thanked the Kazakh President for his peacekeeping role in establishing relationship between Turkey and Russia. The Turkish President noted that he hoped for much better and friendly relationship between Russia and Turkey. (AGI) .
