(AGI) Bari, April 1 - The Exprivia Group aims to grow on large markets, said President and CEO Domenico Favuzzi. Exprivia is a leading Information Technology company specialising in the design, development and integration of software solutions. It consists of six subsidiary firms, four foreign companies and two strategic shareholdings and employs over 1,800 people. The group is headquartered in Molfetta, a few kilometres from Bari, and has offices in Italy in Milan, Genoa, Rome, Palermo and other cities. Exprivia also operates in Spain, the U.S., Mexico, Guatemala, Peru, Brazil and China. In 2015, it posted consolidated revenues of 144.8 million euros (1.7 percent below the previous year), with an EBITDA of 15.3 million and a net profit of 4.6 million (51.4 percent higher than in 2014). A listed company since 2000 and traded on the STAR segment since 2007, Exprivia is active in various market segments: energy and utilities; banking, finance and insurance; healthcare; oil and gas; industry, telco and media; defence, aerospace and government. "When we presented our business plan at the end of last year, we indicated a very slight growth in 2015 and in 2016," said Domenico Favuzzi. "Our goal was to consolidate our margins and efficiency and to return more robustly for more aggressive growth in 2017-2018, and even more in 2019-2020. Se we expected our margins to recover. However, then we saw a decline in foreign markets and some important tenders were postponed. These delays had an impact on our 2015 revenues, but we managed to increase our margins from the year before thanks to a reorganisation of all activities we had set up in previous years. Our foreign activities count for ten percent of our turnover. We are currently focusing our efforts on China, Spain, Brazil and Mexico. Despite the crisis in Brazil and the slowdown in China's growth, these are still very big countries were our turnover is quite low. We believe our growth there will be significant over the coming years. We are interested in all these four markets and we want to strengthen our position there. For us Spain is more than a local market. What we can use what we learn there for our activities in Mexico, Colombia and Guatemala. Then we want to grow further in Europe, mainly in Britain and Germany, but not before 2017. "Outside Europe, we are mainly working in SAP environments and in healthcare. But both in Brazil and in China some of our activities consist in system management, for example security systems, which we are developing with good returns. In our business plan, we expect to grow from 150 million last year to 360 million in 2020. We will reach this threshold through acquisitions in Italy and abroad," the president of Exprivia concluded.. .
