Italian Institute organises Pino Pinelli exhibit in Moscow

(AGI) Moscow, Sept 20 - The first personal exhibition in Russia by Pino Pinelli, one of the most famous Italian artists from the post-World War II period and primary exponent of the Analytical art movement, opened in Moscow's Multimedia Art Museum (MAMM) on Tuesday. The exhibition, entitled "Matter. Fragment. Shadow." is promoted by the Italian Cultural Institute (IIC) in Moscow and will run until Oct. 23. It features nine key and particularly expressive works from Pinelli's artistic research. "The show inaugurates a season of exhibitions that the IIC in Moscow is planning for the public in order to recount Italy's period of fervid artistic experimentation after World War II," said the IIC's director, Olga Strada.
