(AGI) Tehran, July 5 - News of a visit from a delegation of Italian businessmen to Tehran on July 11 is making headlines on Iran's top news websites. The delegation, the Iranian news agency IRNA reported, hails for the Marche region and is led by governor Luca Ceriscioli, with 120 entrepreneurs and 30 managers from the Italian region. The Tasnim agency said the delegation will also visit the charming city of Sari', the capital of the Mazandaran region, which lies by the Caspian Sea and is Iran's foremost area for beaches, tourism, and farming. The delegation comprises representatives from all sorts of sectors of Italy's industry: agriculture and food, furnishing, construction, interior design, automation, jewellery, renewable energy, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, cosmetics, sports equipment, tourism, and cultural affairs. Before Iran's sanctions came into effect, Italy was its first economic partner with trade reaching over 7 billion dollars. Today it has dropped to 1.6 billion. (AGI). .
