Indonesia: minister of maritime to submerge 71 vessels
 Pudjiastuti

(AGI) - Jakarta, Aug 1 - Indonesia's Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Susi Pudjiastuti will sink 71 ships belonging to those involved in illegal fishing on August 17, 2016. On that day, the exact age of the Indonesian republic is 71 years. "The Sinking will be conducted at eight locations," Susi said during a press conference at the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, Jakarta, Monday (01/08/2016). Susi said that the sinking of the 71 illegal fishing vessels will not use explosives, but just open the tap water at the ship so that the ship sank on its own. According to Susie, this is done because the government wants to make the wreck as the Fish Aggregation Devices (FADs). Additionally, She also plans to make five illegal fishing vessels into a head monument of resistance to the illegal fishing. The plan of five vessels will be placed in Pangandaran, West Java. Susi said that the monument will not be placed in the sea, but on land. Previously, Susi has also been made illegal fishing vessels with big size to be a monument in Pangandaran. (AGI) .
