(AGI) - Jakarta, Aug 18 - The Indonesian government is projecting growth of the national economy in 2017 amounted to 5.3 percent. This was said by President of Indonesia Joko Widodo (Jokowi) when delivering a government statement on the Bill on the State Budget for Fiscal Year 2017 and the Financial Note plenary meeting, on Tuesday (16/8). President Jokowi stated that the global economic outlook is expected to improve. "Although, we have to work hard to face the uncertainty that comes from the economic slowdown in many developing countries, as well as the prospects for economic recovery of developed countries which are not as expected," he said. However, the positive impact of the implementation of government policy contained in the economic policy package I to XII is expected to be a stimulus for economic growth that is more equitable and evenly distributed throughout Indonesia, particularly through sustainable infrastructure development.
