German firm Miele purchases Treviso company Steelco

Venice - The German firm Miele has been doing some shopping in Italy by acquiring control over the Treviso-based company Steelco. The two will jointly collaborate in the field of medical technology, with the founders of Steelco still running the company.
This operation will make Miele's medical technology division grow by at least a third, reaching approx. 250 million euros per year. The Italian company, currently around 400 employees, reported a turnover of 71 million euros last year.
