Finmeccanica-Argentina sign hi-tech development agreement
Mauro Moretti

(AGI) Rome, Sept 15 - Italian aerospace company Leonardo-Finmeccanica and Argentina's Ministry of Science, Technology and Productive Innovation recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in Buenos Aires to gauge opportunities to cooperate in trade and in the development of advanced technology in the aerospace, defense, and security sectors. The MoU envisages a working group formed by qualified individuals from both sides with experience in the relative sectors, with the aim of identifying areas for cooperation and the operational means to launch specific projects. The CEO and General Manager of Leonardo-Finmeccanica, Mauro Moretti, stated: "This agreement is further proof of Leonardo's international reach and our growing reputation on foreign markets, which allow us to broaden our relations with numerous governments. The memorandum signed today with the Argentinian government reinforces our ties with a nation historically close to Italy, and attests to Leonardo's commitment to developing the South American market."
