(AGI) Rome, May 10 - The Fiera Roma exhibition centre is to host the "Iran Country Presentation" in November. This is the first trade fair to be held outside Iran, and a hugely important milestone in the internationalisation of the Italian trade fair system. "It was the first thing I did as administrator of Fiera Roma, and I am particularly proud of it", said Pietro Piccinetti, Fiera Roma's new sole administrator. "I signed the agreement for this strategic event with Iran's Deputy Industry Minister Hossein Esfahbodi, in the presence of Prime Minister Matteo Renzi and Iran's President Hassan Rouhani. I look on it as a meaningful example of the role trade fairs have to play in promoting meetings and business with public and private foreign partners. Rome, the city in which the country's institutions are based, is an ideal candidate for promoting these sorts of ties. Together we win. Rome cannot afford to turn down a strategic challenge and miss an opportunity to host such a strategic trade fair for the region's economy". (AGI). .
