(AGI) Rome, June 20 - After the great success of their four autumn dates in Padua, Milan, Florence and Rome, Deep Purple will return to Italy in July for three summer arena events, appearing on Tuesday 12 July at Arena del Mare in Genoa, on Wednesday 13 July at Arena Marte Campo in Brescia and on Friday 15 at Parco della Pace in Servigliano (Fermo). Toseland will open for the rock legends, back in Italy after being invited to take part in the Download Festival, opening concerts for Black Stone Cherry and sharing the stage with the likes of Status Quo, the Darkness and Aerosmith (at the Calling Festival). This is a new adventure for the former Superbike champion James Toseland, who had to retire from racing following an accident in 2011. The band will present its new album "Cradle the Rage", available from May 13. Tickets for the concerts, produced and organised by Barley Arts, are available on the Ticketmaster circuit. Tickets for the Brescia and Servigliano dates are also available on the Vivaticket circuit. Deep Purple's latest album, "Now What ?!", considered one of the band's best, has been very successful in several countries, including Italy, Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, Norway and Russia (where it went gold). After releasing the album, Deep Purple (Ian Gillan, vocals; Steve Morse, guitar; Roger Glover, bass; Don Airey, keyboards; and the founder Ian Paice, drums) embarked on a triumphant world tour, which once again reconfirmed the undisputed status of the historic English hard rock group. At the three new dates Deep Purple will alternate songs from the last album with the great and unforgettable classics that have made them famous in a career of over 45 years. (AGI). .
