(AGI) Omegna, Feb 16 - The ashes of Renato Bialetti, the owner of the factory of home appliances and the coffee makers which bear his name, have been collected in a large Moka Pot. The iconic Moka coffee maker was invented by his father in 1933, and over 200 million have been manufactured. Bialetti's family considered this gesture as a way of remembering the man, who died in Ascona, Switzerland, during the night between Feb 10 and 11. This tribute connects Renato Bialetti to the image of the product that has made this 'Made in Italy' firm so famous worldwide. Over 200 people participated in his funeral service, which took place in Casale Corte Cerro on Tuesday afternoon under a beating rain. At the end of the ceremony, he was buried in the family grave at the cemetery of Omega, his ashes contained in a large Moka coffee maker with the iconic image of the "little man with the mustache." . .
