American actor Assante to receive career award in Ischia
Naples - The American actor, Armand Assante, will receive the Ischia Award for his career during the 15th edition of the Ischia Global Film and Music Fest, taking place from 8 to 16 July. The 67-year-old renowned Italian-American actor (Gotti, Striptease, American Gangster), will also receive an award for best documentary of the year, awarded by the Accademia Internazionale Arte Ischia for 'Ulugh Beg. The man Who Unlocked The Universe', by Bakhodir Yuldashev, on the life of the great astronomer who lived in Asia Minor during the 15th century. The actor was featured in the docufilm along with Vincent Cassel.
